I decided to copy Tory a bit and make up a movie test.

here are the rules.
1. Pick 20 of your favorite movies.
2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.

didn't choose that one because it was going to give me pimples so I choose , um all those years I went for Halloween I wasn't scary... I love baseball. It's my destiny to play that game. and I'm really not sure about winning.

Today 2/29/08

I started my day by going to school and learning. I didn't think school would be so bad because we had an early release, but I was wrong. First we went to P.E. and when I was playing volley-ball my friend Sala was yelling at me for no apparent reason. After P.E. my teacher, Mrs. Smith told me that I needed to finish my work. The assignment she wanted me to finish was looking up 31 words in the dictionary and writing down the page number. When I got home I was still angry about the fact that my day hadn't gone too well, but it was a very nice day so I decided to grab a beach towel, my radio and my homework (31 definitions) and sit on the porch. 2-3 hours later after I finished looking in four dictionaries and studying for my history test, I finally got to relax.

Today 2/28/08

I started my day by getting up early to go to Instrumental Ensemble. Instrumental Ensemble is another group that our music teacher made up. It is pretty much like Super Singers except that we play instruments instead of singing. Here's a list of the the things I did later that day.

Instead of going home I stayed at school to do an after school class called Enrichment. Enrichment is kind of like an activity class, for example I am in an American girl class where we make little doll house toys. Today at enrichment I made a doll cake with a yellow sponge as the cake painted in white paint for frosting and tooth picks with the tip painted yellow as a candle. We also made pizza with a piece of cloth and red paint as the pizza and sauce then we put pencil shavings on as the cheese with brown pepperonis made out of little brown pieces of cloth. I am planning on giving Isabelle the doll house toys. Next week at Enrichment we are making a bathtub and a book shelf.

Honor roll

I made honor roll twice in a row for school. I am hoping to make it again, though I'm very good at Math. I have found a way to improve my math work by checking the answers. How I check the answer's are by either adding or subtracting a number and then to check it, if I added then I would subtract.


Example:


342 -200 =142 then check it by reversing it 200 + 142 =342

Marshmallow surprise

Tonight Gwen and I decided to make a yummy bed time snack! First we got out a bag of marshmallows , then we poured like 20 -30 marshmallows onto a plate then, put it in the microwave for 10 sec. then we did 10 sec. again and then we did 5 sec, next we took the marshmallows out of microwave, got a fork and dug in! Some people may think that's weird or gross but, you never know until you try!

Today 2/26/08

This morning I had to wake up even earlier for school because I had to go to Super Singers. Super Singers is a group of 4th and 5th graders that wake up early in the morning to sing. Our music teacher is the one who made up the group. During the year we have Super Singer performances! So after Super Singers when school actually started I went on a field trip to old town Fredricksburg where we went to three places. First we went to the apothecary shop where they show some of the medicine they used 200 years ago like leaches and lavender. Next we went to the Sun Tavern (a tavern is like a hotel). I think the Sun Tavern was built by George Washington's brother. Last we went to the Mary Washington house (George Washington's mother). At Mary Washington's house we went in her bedroom, in the living room and in the garden. When we finally got back to school we ate lunch in the class room, I had a delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwich (on whole wheat bread, with Kirkland organic peanut butter, and sugar free strawberry jelly), carrots, apples, non fat yogurt and 2 cookies. When it was time to go home, our bus took forever to get to school because our bus driver never showed up and they had to call in a substitute. When we got home I had to do math homework (ughhhh), then I wrote on my blog a little bit, and then ran on the treadmill. I watched a little bit of American Idol and I have to go to bed soon because it's almost 10:00 pm.

Today 2/24/08

This morning my Mom woke me up to get ready for church, so I got out of bed ( which is a pain on sundays) so I got up and picked out one of my new dresses to wear and then went downstairs for breakfast. For breakfast we had eggs, toast and orange juice. After breakfast I did what I normally did to get ready for school or church, brush teeth, brush hair, and get dressed. When we went to church I asked Gwen to take her camera and take some snapshots of our church. When we were driving home from church my Mom told me that people were coming to look at our house (because we have our house up for sale) and that we would have to clean... alot. so when everything looked good and we were almost ready to leave so that the people could look at our house in peace, we got another call and they said that they wanted to look at our house too. When we left our house we went to scoops for a quick ice cream (we don't normally do that on the sabbath but everybody was starving, and we had to go somewhere) after everybody was finished with there delicious ice cream or Italian ice we went to look at a few houses for sale. When we finally got back home my friends Sarah & Rachel came over to play with us. We went in my room(Gwen and I share a room) and Gwen showed Sarah and Rachel her friend book (book full of friend quiz's) then we went down in the basement to play the wii . When Sarah and Rachel had to go home we ate dinner.My Mom made chicken parmisan (that tasted great) and now I have to go to bed because virginia time it's 9:34 and we have school tomorrow. :)

Hobbies

My newest hobbie is blogging, though I'm not as creative as my aunt Theresa, I try. My parents call me a blogging monster, although I just write things that are going on in my life when I'm bored. At first I didn't think blogging would be very interesting at all, I just thought that it was a waste of time, little did I know.

The rest of Today

For the rest of the day Gwen and mom made carrot cake a recipe from our Aunt Sue. I went to my friends Sarah & Rachel's house. Sarah and Rachel take dance lessons, Sarah takes jazz and tap Rachel takes tap and ballet, so today at their house Sarah and Rachel showed me a little bit of their dance routine and let me try too. We also played with their pet rats and watched the Discovery Health channel about a girl with a brain tumor. I came home to some hot delicious carrot cake and then started writing this! What a day, it didn't seem like much until I wrote about it.

Today

This morning I was woken up by Gwen telling Mom about her weird dream, so I thought I might as well go downstairs. Gregory's friends came over and woke Gregory up because they needed him to play the bass guitar at their house. Lee & Brandon came upstairs to wait for Gregory to change. It just so happened that my brother Christopher was putting together a smoothie right then made from frozen strawberries, bananas, non fat yogurt and apple juice. My mom told Lee & Brandon that they could have some smoothie if they wanted (since they were practically drooling over it anyway). My mom had to make another batch since there was no longer enough for us. While she was making some more smoothie, she was stirring it while it was blending and pushed down too hard so that the plastic spoon she was stirring with got blended too (Not like that's never happened before when she was making a smoothie) fortunately she got most of the pieces out of the smoothie.
After our delicious smoothie breakfast, Isabelle and I watched the wiggles, Oswald and Mickey Mouse clubhouse. Later I ate carrots and posted a few things on my blog. My Mom had some carrots too even though she's allergic to them. She said they looked so good that she thought a few wouldn't hurt, but her hands and throat started itching. Thankfully she wasn't dangerously allergic to carrots, so she didn't get hurt. I watched Max Keeble's big move and went to Sarah and Rachel's house to play for awhile. That's pretty much been my day so far!

Movies

Yesterday I went with My friends Sarah & Rachel to the movies to see spiderwick chronicles. First I went to subway and I got a soda. Then we went to the movies, the seats were like a stadium! The movie was awesome, maybe even the best movie I have ever seen!

My Birthday

I have a blue acoustic guitar, and I am trying to save up enough money for a pink electric guitar for my birthday. It's about 20 days until my birthday on March 12. Then I'll need to save for the accessories. I am sad to say that I would give up my guitar for a cat.

My Quest to own a cat.

I am on a journey to convince my parents for a cat. So far they're saying no because we don't have anywhere to put the cat's litter box. Outside cats hunt for animals and then leave them dead on our driveway. My brother and Dad are supposedly allergic to cats dander. I told them that Gregory was going to college soon and that there are ways of preventing dander. My Dad is not highly allergic to cats, he would survive.


PS. PLEASE post a comment to help encourage my parents to get me a cat.
